TWO ARRESTED IN BRENHAM TRAFFIC STOP

Two people face charges after a Brenham traffic stop, Thursday morning.
Officers stopped a vehicle around 7:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Market St.

Investigation revealed the driver, 37-year old Sheppard Blaine Martin of Brenham, was wanted on an active warrant for Burglary of a Building.
A search of the vehicle turned up narcotics.
Martin and his passenger, 38-year old Julian Roy Vasquez of College Station, were each charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.
