TWO ARRESTED ON POSSESSION CHARGES

  

Brenham Police made two arrests on marijuana possession charges, Wednesday morning.

During a 9:30 a.m. traffic stop in the 1400 block of Kevin Lane, Officer Jonathan Phipps confirmed 22-year old Jaborie Dewayne Rucks of Brenham, had two active warrants out of Washington County.  During a search of Rucks’ vehicle, marijuana was located.

Rucks is charged with Possession of marijuana as well as warrants for Driving while license invalid and Failure to appear.

Then, about 45 minutes later, Cpl. Lance Weiss was patrolling the parking lot at Brenham High School and saw three students in the parking lot during class time.

One of the three was found with marijuana.

18-year old Juan Alberto Banda of Brenham is charged with Possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
