  1. Yes, JW that is right, and so do all the lawyers, county and state coffers benefit in dollars. But only for those select few. In the states where it is sold legally and taxed, all the citizens benefit from millions in revenue. Decreasing oil revenues will hurt us all, and the state will cut funds to education, state employees benefits, (teachers) and the most vulnerable. With all these continuing cutbacks that effect taxpayers, it would be nice to know from our representatives if the size of state house operations budget has endured equal cutbacks. Never.

  2. I feel sorry for them, if they got caught in Austin Texas it would have been a ticket for violating a city ordinance. If brenham folks would just leave their pot at home the city would lose revenue big time

  3. Just Say No To Marijuana
Texas Laws Should WILL NEVER Legalize Hash. Marijuana, Dope, Whatever You Want To Call It. If You Don’t Like The Laws Then M-O-V-E O-U-T O-F T-E-X-A-S. True Texans Don’t Want You Here. Take Your Addiction With You. That Way Our Jails Don’t Have To Support You Either. Our Hospitals Don’t Have To Treat Your Overdose. And We Don’t Have To Pay For Your Funeral And Our Cemetery Spaces Are Not Wasted With Your Overdosed Corpse.

  4. How is THC a controlled substance? Hash comes from the same plant as the marijuana does. Texas Marijuana laws need to change
