TWO ARRESTED ON WARRANTS–DRUG CHARGES

  

Two Washington County men face marijuana possession charges after separate arrests Sunday.

Just after midnight Sunday, Sgt. Curtiss Schoen conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Austin and Stone streets.

Communications advised the driver, 29-year old Joe Louis Raska, had two active warrants for his arrest.

During the vehicle inventory, marijuana was located in the center console of the vehicle.

Raska is charged with Possession of Marijuana and warrants for Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Appear.

Then, just after 12:00 noon Sunday, Officer Hunter Andras was notified by Communications of a subject who had an active warrant for his arrest

Andras located, 25-year old Justin Daniels near Henderson Park and arrested him.

During a search, Andras located a baggy containing marijuana in Daniels’ front pants pocket.

Daniels is charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz in a drug free zone; and a Warrant for Bond Forfeiture.
