TWO ARRESTED ON WARRANTS THIS WEEKEND

Brenham Police made a pair on arrests on outstanding warrants, Sunday.
Just after 4:30 p.m., Officer Alex Saenz responded to the 2400 Block of South Chappell Hill Street in reference to a verbal disturbance.
Upon investigations it was found that 25-year old Jony Alvarez-Benitez of Brenham had an active warrant for his arrest on a charge of Failure to Appear Non Payment of Child Support.

Benitez was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday evening, just before 6:30, Cpl. Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Lounge Rd.
Investigation revealed that 36-year old Felix Zepeda Andrade of Brenham, had an active warrant for his arrest for Striking an Unattended Vehicle warrant and Indecent Exposure Warrant.
Andrade was placed in custody and transported to jail.
