Brenham Fire Marshal Alan Finke says two fires at two city park restrooms are suspicious and under investigation.

Finke says the first fire was reported at 8:54pm Saturday night at the restroom and concession stand adjacent to Henderson Park. The second fire was in a trash barrel in the restrooms at Jackson Street Park. Finke the first fire caused heavy damage to the building and he is seeking answers.

Finke says the fire at the Jackson Street Park restroom was contained before it could spread beyond the barrel but there was significant smoke damage.

No one was injured in either of the blazes.
