TWO BRENHAM MEN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

  

Two Brenham men are in custody after two warrants were served in separate cases.

42-year old Terrance Jerome Coleman of Brenham was served his warrant at his place of employment on East Highway 290.

Coleman was wanted on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm By a Felon and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.

Also served a warrant on a similar charge is 49-year David Lee Coleman of Brenham.

He was also wanted for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Brenham Police served the second warrant after David Coleman turned himself in at the Washington County Jail.

  1. I hate it when cops choose to serve these warrants in places of employment. It disrupts the work of others, potentially puts other people in danger if the person being arrested reacts wrong (and you can bet the employer will be the one getting sued if someone gets hurts due to law enforcement coming into the workplace), and causes unneed embarrassment if it turns out the charge does not result in a conviction. Law enforcement needs to do this away from work places.

    1. They don’t if the person can reliably be found elsewhere, problem is that most wanted felons don’t broadcast their whereabouts everywhere they go. Cops do what they can, the fault for the embarrassment or disorder falls on the person who broke the law in the first place
