TWO BRENHAM MEN SENTENCED IN LATEST 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Two Brenham men have plead guilty in the latest session of the 21st Judicial District Court.qtq80-LORDgY

37-year-old Kelvin Earl Moore was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.

25-year-old Jeremy Dwayne Levi, also from Brenham, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to seven months in jail for possession of a controlled substance.

William Parker, 41, of Burton was sentenced to two years in jail for a theft of less than $2,500 with two previous convictions. Parker will also have to pay a $1,500 fine and perform 160 hours of community service.

In other news from the 21st District Court:

Curtis Lynn Walker, age 46, of Houston was sentenced to eight years in prison for organized retail theft between $500 and $1,500.

35-year-old Jorge Hugo Lara of Houston had his probation revoked and was sentenced to five years in prison for driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony.

Frank Osoria Romero, 31, of Austin, was sentenced to three years in prison for fraud use/possession identifying info, unlawful use of criminal instrument, and money laundering.

34-year-old James L. Williams, of Austin, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 8 months in jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Zachary Jenney, age 19, of Magnolia was sentenced to six years deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance. Jenney will also have to pay a $2,000 fine and serve 300 hours of community service.

23-year-old Angel Aguila Mercado of Houston was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for cooperative agreements with states on fuel tax, which is a second degree felony. Mercado will also have to pay $6,899 in restitution.
