TWO BRENHAM POLICE OFFICERS PROMOTED

  

Two members of the Brenham Police Department were recognized for their promotions during the city council meeting on Thursday.

Chris Jackson, who has been with the department for 17 years, was promoted to sergeant. Jackson had his new badge pinned on by girlfriend Erica Keller during the ceremony.

Steven Eilert, also promoted to sergeant, had his badge pinned on by his father George Eilert during the ceremony. Eilert has been with the department since 2010.
