TWO BRENHAM POLICE VEHICLES DAMAGED IN SATURDAY NIGHT COLLISSION

.Two Brenham police vehicles collided  while in pursuit of a reckless driver late Saturday night.

Cpl. Chris Jackson of the Brenham police department says that the Chevy Tahoe used for drug investigations broadsided by a Dodge Charger patrol unit at about 11:20pm Saturday at the intersectioN OF Baber and East Main.  Cpl. Seth Klem and the ‘drug dog’ Ronnie were in the Tahoe but they were not injured.

Cpl. Tommie Kurrie suffered an injury to his ankle.

Extensive damage was done to both vehicles but it has not yet been determined if the vehicles totaled.

The accident remains under investigation.
