TWO COMMUNITY MEMBERS HONORED BY BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT

  

Two community members have been honored by the Brenham Fire Department.

Josh Sebastian has been chosen as the Firefighter of the year and Sara Gresham has been awarded Outstanding Member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Josh Sebastian joined the Brenham Fire Department as a Firefighter in 2005 and was promoted to Apparatus Operator in January 2010. He is an Advanced Firefighter, Fire Officer II, has Wildland Certification, Driver Operator, Haz-Mat Tech and is in charge of the Fire Hydrant program. Officials with the Fire Department say Sebastian is “dedicated to [the] department, has a professional attitude, and is a friend to everyone he meets.”

Sara Gresham serves on the Auxiliary Executive Board and has been active at the District and State Auxiliary levels. She has been a Sweetheart & Historian for the Auxiliary. She has held Parliamentarian and Vice President positions with the Central Texas Auxiliary. Currently, she holds the title of Secretary of the Auxiliary, President of the Central Texas Auxiliary, and the Scholarship Chairman of the Texas Fireman’s Auxiliary.

The Brenham Fire Department selects a Firefighter of the Year and an Outstanding Member of the Ladies Auxiliary each year.
