TWO FACE MARIJUANA POSSESSION CHARGES
Two people face charges after their arrests in Brenham this weekend on marijuana possession charges.
Friday night, Cpl. Edward Ortega conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Highway 290 West.
Ortega says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
24-year old Benito Pantoja of Round Rock is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
Saturday afternoon, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of 290 East.
Dudenhoeffer says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle.
27-year old Victor Alfonso Gutierrez of Houston admitted there was marijuana in the car.
Gutierrez is also charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
