TWO KILLED; CHILD INJURED IN ACCIDENT

  

Two people are dead while a little girl is in critical condition at an Austin hospital, following a horrifying head-on crash Friday afternoon in Brazos County.

The accident happened around 1:30 on FM-2818 just north of Bryan.

57-year old Casey Richmond of Bremond was pronounced dead at the scene, while 26-year old Timothy Baldobino of Bryan died a short time later at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.

Baldobino’s 3-year old daughter was flown to Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin, where she is in critical condition.

Authorities say they don’t know what caused the head-on collision between a Jeep Cherokee and Honda Accord, on a straight stretch of highway between Mumford Rd. and Sandy Point Rd.

That stretch of 2818 was closed for over three hours, Friday afternoon as crews worked the scene.
