TWO KILLED IN BRAZOS CO. COLLISSION
Two people are dead following a head-on collision in Brazos County last (Sunday) night.
The accident occurred on Harvey Mitchel Parkway near Sandy Point Road, and shut down traffic for nearly five hours Sunday night.
According to Bryan police, a pickup truck was trying to pass traffic and struck a Dodge Charger head on.
The driver of the pickup, 21-year old German Chavez-Infante and the driver of the Charger, 41-year old Quentin Darnell Shepherd were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred just after 5:30, Sunday night.
