TWO LaGRANGE RESIDENTS ARREST IN TRAFFIC STOP

  

Two people were taken into custody after their truck broke down, over the weekend in Fayette County.

Fayette County Deputy Hunter Embesi came upona a broken down pickup, early Sunday morning, on Highway 71 near La Grange.

Deputy Embesi stopped to assist and discovered the driver and passenger both had outstanding warrants for their arrest out of Fayette County.

41-year old Kevin Duane McKenzie had multiple outstanding warrants and was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

34-year old Melinda Scott, also of LaGrange, was charged with multiple outstanding warrants.

Embesi says additional cocaine was found inside the vehicle.
