TWO MARIJUANA POSSESSION ARRESTS MADE
Two Brenham men face marijuana possession charges after a pair of traffic stops Tuesday.
20-year old Steven Darnell Smith and 23-year old Frederick Dewayne Franklin, both of Brenham, face separate charges of Possession of Marijuana.
Around 11:30 a.m., Officer Jonathan Phipps conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Blue Bell Rd and Autumn Rain.
Phipps says he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable cause search located marijuana.
Smith was arrested and charged.
Just after 2:40 p.m., Phipps pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Burleson and Pleasant View.
Phipps says he once-again could smell marijuana. Franklin admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and was arrested.
