TWO NAVASOTA MEN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULTING POLICE
Two Navasota men have been arrested after they allegedly assaulted two police officers.
The police officers were responding to an unrelated assault call on Sunday evening in the 100 block of Durden Street when 30-year-old Adrian Bennett and 24-year-old Jamarcus Hester perpetrated the assault.
While details have not been released, the Navasota Police Department says both officers were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. They have since been released.
Bennett and Hester have been charged with two counts of assaulting a public servant.

I hope these to get prosecuted to the full extent of the law. There is no reason for them to assault a police officer so badly that both officers have to be treated at the hospital. What a complete disgrace.
