TWO PLEAD GUILTY TO DRUG OFFENSES IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Two person plead guilty to felony offenses and received terms ranging from probation to prison terms in the 21st Judicial District Court, according to Julie Renken, District Attorney.

Eric Michael Ellis, age 24, of Brenham was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance less than one gram from an arrest on October 23, 2013. He was sentenced to 2 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division, and ordered to pay court cost and a $180 lab fee.

Ellis was also charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance from an offense date of October 21, 2013. He was sentenced to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division, and ordered to pay court cost and a $180 lab fee.

Ellis was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance from an offense from September 8, 2012. He had his probation adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice State Jail Division, ordered to pay court costs, $1000 fine, his court-appointed attorney fee, and a $140 lab fee. 

Wade Neil Rau, age 51, of Brenham, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance from April 18, 2013.

Rau was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication probation, fined $1000 plus court cost, a $180 lab fee, 120 hours of community service restitution, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, drug offender education program, provide DNA and urinalysis sample.
