TWO SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR BURGLARY

  

Two Washington County men, arrested in May with three others for a rural burglary, have been sentenced to prison time.

18-year old Josey James Rogers and 32-year old Keith Lee Williams, both of Brenham, were each charged with the February burglary of a home on Old Navasota Road, where numerous guns and boxes of ammunition were stolen.

Rogers was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $10,000 in restitution in that case.  Rogers was also sentenced to five years for another unrelated burglary that occurred in March.

Williams was sentenced to two years in prison on the burglary charge.  He was also placed on five years’ probation on a charge of Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury.  He was also fined $2,000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

Also in 21st District Court this week:

20-year old Stefan Wingobest of Houston was sentenced to three years in prison for Unauthorized use of a Vehicle.

And, 22-year old Jamie Echeverria of Chappell Hill was placed on four years’ probation and finre $1,500 for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to perform 120 hours of community service.
