Two Washington County men were arrested Thursday in Bryan on drug charges- with of the men having warrants for sex crimes.
According to police, an officer was at Williamson Park when he observed a vehicle with at least two passengers not wearing seatbelts.
The officer ran the three occupants’ identification through a police database.
He found that 30-year-old Cedrick George Rogers, of Chappell Hill, had four warrants out of Washington County. One warrant was for failure to register as a sex offender, one for indecency with a child, one for sexual assault of a child, and one for trespassing. Rogers was arrested.
Authorities say they found a bottle of vodka in the car, as well as four Ecstasy pills. The car's driver, a woman, was released, but police arrested 29-year-old George Henry Rogers-McGee Jr. of Brenham.
Rogers and Rogers-McGee are both charged with possession of Ecstasy.
Rogers-McGee is being held at the Brazos County Jail on $8,000 bond, while Rogers is being held on $158,000 bond.
