TxDOT REOPENS HIGHWAY 105

  

The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting that Highway 105 is now open to traffic.  The department closed a section of the highway Thursday evening after a problem was discovered on the bridge over Jackson Creek.  Damage to one of the support beams apparently occurred during the flooding in May of 2016.  Engineers from TxDOT inspected the bridge this morning and determined that it was safe for traffic.  The bridge over Jackson Creek is located near the intersection of Highway 105 and Gaskamp Road.
