TXDOT ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE

  

As of 7pm Monday evening, TxDOT is closing FM 976 in Burleson County, between CR 125 and CR 150, to fix flood damage.  This roadway should be back open by Tuesday afternoon.

Additionally in Grimes County, we are closing the right northbound lane of SH 6 at Beason Creek due to flood damage.  We anticipate this section of SH 6 to be down to one-lane for the next couple of weeks while we fix this area.

In Grimes County:

• FM 2 around SH 6 is closed.
• FM 362 closed north and south of CR 302 between FM 2 and FM 2979.
• FM 244 closing at Gibbons creek between FM 3090 and SH 30.
• FM 3090 closed at Coleman Bottom due to water over the roadway. This is between FM 149 and FM 3455.

Walker County:

• FM 247 closed between FM 2628 and FM 2989.
• FM 3478 at the Trinity River is Closed.
• FM 2989 in Walker County is still closed at Bedias Creek due to water over the roadway.
• FM 1791 is closed at the West Fork of San Jacinto River.

Washington County:

• FM 1155, just south of FM 2193 is closed due to water over the roadway.
• FM 2935 at FM 577 is closed.

We anticipate the above roads to be closed through the night into tomorrow.  This will be final update today, unless we get more rain.
