TXDOT UPDATE ON ROAD CLOSURES

  

The following roads in the Washington County area are reported closed due to heavy rains and flooding in the area:

WASHINGTON CO.-FM 1948 at Lake Somerville.  The lake is backing up.  This will be a longterm closure

BURLESON CO.- FM 3058 is closed due to washout.  Contractor working and hopeful to have open next week.

FM 696 at Hooker Creek is OPEN.

Contractor has fixed flooded damage and moved to FM3058 in Burleson County.

GRIMES CO.-FM 3090 is closed in two places due to flooding damage.

FM 3090, north of FM 149 is closed at Spring Creek.  Detours in place.  Closed for approximately two weeks.

FM 3090 at Turkey Creek.  Detours in place.  Closed for approximately two weeks.

WALKER CO.-FM 3478 at the Trinity River

FM 2989, between IH-45 and FM 247
