TXDOT WARNS OF CULVERT REPAIRS ON FM 1155
On Monday, the Texas Department of Transportation closed FM 1155 near its intersection with FM 2193 to replace a culvert of FM 1155.
A signed detour is in place to route drivers to use FM 912, State Highway 105 and FM 2193.
The project is expected to cost $2.9 million dollars, awarded to Glenn Fuqua, Inc. out of Navasota.
This closure is scheduled for one week, weather permitting. TXDOT is asking motorist to obey all warning signs, watch for works, and stay buckled up.

The other way around which is much shorter than those mentioned is to take Flewellen Road North to Whitman Road and go East on Whitman to Dillard Road and take Dillard Road south back to FM 1155…..or the opposite if you’re traveling from the other direction.
For those that choose to take Whitman Rd. please be curtious of those that live down Whitman Rd and watch your speed. There have been many cars speeding down this normally rarely busy road.
