UNDERCOVER OFFICERS MAKE METH WARRANT ARREST
Undercover narcotics officers arrested a 30-year old Brenham man late Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop near Burton on a warrant for delivering methamphetamines.
Brenham police reports say they had been investigating Dustin Mulanex for several months, after learning that he was allegedly selling meth in various places. Officers in unmarked police units tracked him down on Lily Lange Road, off highway 290 at 5:30pm. They surrounded his vehicle and had their firearms drawn to ensure he could not get away. Mulanex had told relatives that he was not going to go back to prison quietly.
Police learned of his whereabouts a week ago during a Fusion Unit raid on at a home on Lily Lange Road. Forty-seven year old Cynthya Ann Maynard was arrested. Maynard is related to Mulanex. Maynard remains in the Washington County jail.
Mulanex has a long criminal history dating back to his youth. He had been to prison at least once.
This “man” should have stayed in prison the first time. He has brought down our city in more than one way. Please throw away the key this time!
