VEHICLES BUGLARIZED
Brenham police are investigating a trio of burglaries that all occurred in the same area, Sunday.
At around 8 a.m., Cpl. David Webb responded to the 100 block of East Lubbock St where a man stated someone stole his speakers out of his Jeep.
At 9 a.m., Cpl. Jared Campbell was called to the 1900 block of South Park where a man said someone had entered both of his vehicles but nothing was missing.
Then, just after 12:30 p.m., Sgt. Kelvin Raven responded to the 500 block of West Chauncey where the caller said someone had stolen a cosmetic bag from her vehicle which was later recovered.
All incidents are under investigation.

Jail costs taxpayers too much money. I rather like the idea one judge had (can’t remember where) who had the offender stand on street corner with a sign around his neck listing his offense. An hour in this heat on a street corner with a sign proclaiming how stupid you were might make some others pause to consider the consequences for doing the same.
I guess it is time to start putting up hunting cameras so we can catch these crooks!
Slap em on the wrist does not appear to be working. Put em in jail !!!
