VIDEO – JAM ACADEMY AT KRAUSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

  

Even though it’s summer-time, music and laughter can be heard at Krause Elementary School.  JAM Academy is currently underway there on weekday mornings.  JAM Academy is a program organized by Mission Brenham with the cooperation of the Brenham School District.

Students arrive at 7:30 and their morning is filled with high energy group activities, small group studies, learning times with both teachers and at computer stations, and breakfast and lunch.  Transportation to JAM is provided by the school district and that cost is shared with Mission Brenham as the same busses carry summer school students.  Breakfast and lunch are provided through a Federal program that is open to any BISD student during the summer.

  1. This program is amazing not only do they get fed spiritually but they get academic help too . Thank you to all the sponsors that help keep JAM going and to all the staff and teens as a JAM parents I am truly blessed to know my kids are taken care of and loved !!!!
