VIDEO -SPECIAL OLYMPICS TORCH PASSES THROUGH BRENHAM

  

The Special Olympic Torch Runners passed through Downtown Brenham just after 9:00am on Thursday morning as a part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics 2017.

Escorted by law enforcement representatives from agencies all over Texas, local Brenham ISD special education students were seated on a trailer at the head of the parade.

There were a multitude of cruisers escorting the runners and riders from all across Washington County and Brenham, ensuring the students and torch had a smooth trip from their starting point in the S. Higgins parking lot to their finish location in the parking lot across from Fireman’s Park.

The torch will continue on its way to Arlington.
