VOLLEYBALL SCRIMMAGES BEGIN FOR BRENHAM/BURTON TODAY
The Brenham Cubette and Burton Lady Panther volleyball teams take to the floor today in their first scrimmages of 2015.
The Cubettes are scrimmaging this morning at Cy Falls and tomorrow morning at Bellville.
The Lady Panthers are scrimmaging today at Iola.
Brenham will open the season Tuesday afternoon with a tri-match with Wallis Brazos and Bryan Rudder at 2:00 at the Brenham High School Gymnasium. Rudder ended the Cubettes’ 2014 season in the Area Round of the Region III/5A playoffs.
Cubettes’ head coach Debbie Yeager and seniors on the 2015 team will be the Sports Doc’s guests Monday night on the Brenham Sports Line, beginning at 5:35 on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.
Burton will also be at home for their 2015 season opener, Tuesday as well. The Lady Panthers will host Lexington, with the JV’s taking the floor at 5:00.
