VOLUNTEERS INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT HISTORIC PROGRAMS

In partnership with The Barnhill Center, Main Street is giving the community an opportunity to learn about volunteering with several historic projects.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), Main Street is hosting a luncheon in the Bullock Ballroom for anyone interested in history, acting, teaching children, or helping the community to meet with the management teams of these projects. Projects to be discussed at the lunch are: The Barnhill Center at the Historic Simon Theatre, STEP INTO THE PAST Brenham Historic Tours, the annual Local History Day for Brenham ISD students, and upcoming performances planned for the new Hasskarl Auditorium.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) starting at 11:30 a tour of the new center will begin followed by the luncheon and presentations of the various programs – free of charge.

Those interested in attending the luncheon and hearing more about these projects, should contact Jennifer Eckermann at JEckermann@CityOfBrenham.org, or Donna Cummins at TheBarnHillCenter@gmail.com.
