VOTING TO BEGIN FOR BRENHAM ‘EGG ART WALK’

  

Tomorrow is the first day to cast your votes for this year’s Spring Egg Art Walk in downtown Brenham.

Community members and local businesses have created individual giant eggs that are decorating the streets of downtown Brenham.

The Spring Egg Art Walk, sponsored by Main Street Brenham, is open to all ages and artistic abilities.

School classes, clubs, Scout troops and individuals are all taking part.

All entries are eligible to win cash prizes between $100 and $200.

Categories include: Overall Best Spring Theme; Most Votes; Judge’s Award; Most Original and Most Artistic – with prizes in both adult and youth categories.

Eggs will be up for auction this year, with the creators getting 50% of the auction money on top of any prize money.

Voting will take place thru April 8 at the Brenham Visitors Center and online at: .http://downtownbrenham.com.

The award for Most Votes will be decided online only.
