(Waller Co. Jail)

An arrest has been made in a shooting incident at Texas World Speedway, back in July.

Waller County authorities have arrested 19-year old William Lamar Wagner, on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Wagner allegedly shot a 21-year-old man in the arm after a dispute at the College Station racetrack during a trail ride on July 1st.

According to the Brazos County Sheriff's Office, the victim and Wagner were arguing about an earlier altercation between the two.

A friend of the victim told deputies that Wagner previously attacked the victim with his car during a trail ride in Chappell Hill, and the two of them wanted to confront Wagner about the incident.

Several witnesses claimed to see the argument take place. Wagner is then accused of taking out a gun in the middle of a crowded dance floor and firing.

Wagner was later identified during a photo lineup by witnesses, while the victim, who survived his injuries, refused to cooperate with the investigation.
