WALLER MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT

  

A Waller man is behind bars after an alleged assault Thursday.

34-year old Chad Everette Morgan is charged with Assault—Physical Contact on a Family Member, as well as a warrant for Parole Violation from Mississippi.

Thursday evening, just after 5:00, Officer Jose Perez responded to the 100 Block of Highway 290 West., to a reported assault.  While officers were enroute, they were advised that the suspect assaulted the caller and had fled the scene on foot.

The alleged victim told Perez that Morgan had struck her while they were arguing in their vehicle.  They stopped the vehicle in a nearby parking lot where Morgan had run off.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Yasmine Alfaro found Morgan in a nearby parking lot.

Morgan was transported to the Washington County Jail.
