WALMART DONATES THREE CHILD SAFETY SEAT TO BRENHAM PD
Investigator Joe Merkley of the Brenham Police Department accepted a donation of three child safety seats from Wal Mart employees.
A recent case highlighted the Police Department’s need to be able to provide transportation for children but the department had no car seats.
Wal Mart stepped in and donated the car seats, which will accommodate children from 20 pounds all the way up to 110 pounds.
The department intends to make the car seats available to other law enforcement and first responders in the county for use as well.
