WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court met today (Tuesday) to approve the reappointment of members to the Regional Transportation Planning Committee for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments.County Commissioners court feature

The Commissioners approved the reappointment of Washington County Judge John Brieden, Road and Bridge Department Engineer Don Werth, Brenham City Manager Terry Roberts, and Brenham City Engineer Lori Lakatos to the committee.

The committee serves as the regional planning organization for transportation in the region, connecting local government leaders with state and federal agencies providing transportation infrastructure and funding.

The County Commissioners also approved a formal notice for a buried utility line for Corix Utilities on Quebe Road.

In other business, the Commissioners approved of a letter agreement from Rutledge Crain & Company to provide auditing services to Washington County for the year ending December 31, 2016.
