WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS APPROVE SUBDIVISION VARIANCE

Washington County Commissioners approved a subdivision variance request on Allen Road to divide the 6.09 acres into 3 tracts when they met this morning (Tuesday).

County Commissioner Zeb Heckmann explains the division.

Commissioners approved the agreement between the County and Chappell Hill Construction for the renovations to the booking, picket, and interview areas of the Washington County Jail. Chappell Hill Construction was the lowest bid and according to County Judge, John Brieden, they bid lower than they normally would because it was for Washington County.

Also approved at this morning’s (Tuesday) meeting a $200 donation from Citizens State Bank to the Washington County Historical Commission, the donation of five rolling office chairs and framed posters to the Washington County Healthy Living Association, and pending fairgrounds management’s rental and regulations contracts.
