WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AGREEMENT

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court will consider an agreement between the Heart of Texas Regional Advisory Council (HTRAC) and two of the county’s entities during their meeting on Tuesday.  county commissioners feature

The commissioners will discuss two agreements with the HTRAC- one with Washington County EMS and one with the Washington County Office of Emergency Management. The agreement would help develop a coordinated regional medical response plan in case of a disaster. The disaster preparedness plan would meet the requirements of the Center for Disease Control and the Office of Assistant Secretary of Preparedness.

In other business, the commissioners will hear a presentation from the annual Tax Phase-In Compliance Review Committee. The committee meets every year to review all of the current tax phase-in recipients who were granted the incentive to ensure that value creation and employment & payroll criteria are being met.

The Washington County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. in chambers 103 in the county courthouse.
