WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS HOG OUT PROGRAM
Washington County Commissioners will discuss the county’s participation in the County Hog Out Management Program, when they meet Tuesday morning.
The Texas Department of Agriculture administers the Hog Out County Grants Program, designed to encourage counties across the State of Texas to make a concentrated and coordinated effort to reduce the feral hog population.
Participating counties receive funds to participate in the three-month program, in which money is paid for the number of feral hogs killed between October 1st and December 31st.
Also at Tuesday morning’s meeting, commissioner are expected to approve the revised County Fairgrounds Management Rental Fee Schedule and approve the rental and regulation contracts presented by the Fairgrounds Manager.
Washington County Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Washington County Courthouse.
