WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS NEW VEHICLE FOR D.A.’S OFFICE

  

The Washington County Commissioners will vote on granting the District Attorney the authority to purchase a new vehicle from a state contract vendor when they meet this morning (Tuesday).

The Commissioners will then move on to voting to authorize the County Engineer to advertise for Seal Coat bids as well as the acceptance of .180 miles of road extension of Crestview Lane in the Spring Creek Estates into the County Road System. This acceptance would release the Letter of Credit security covering the Maintenance Phase.

A vote will also be taken on the approval of a proposal from Keese and Associates to furnish architectural services for the remodeling of the kitchen area and the Washington County Jail and a resolution to extend the present contract for participation I the Washington County Rotation Log for Towing services for abandoned, impounded, junked, and disabled vehicles with the present towing companies.

The meeting will end with presentations of several monthly reports including: the District Clerk, County Clerk, Justices of the Peace, Auditor, Tax Assessor/Collector, Treasurer’s monthly financial, Constables, Washington County Fairgrounds Management, and the Emergency Management Coordinator.

The Washington County Commissioners will meet this morning (Tuesday) at the Washington County Courthouse at 9am.
