WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS PARKLANE VILLAS

Washington County Commissioners will discuss a resolution supporting a proposed development in Brenham, when they meet Tuesday morning.

The Commissioners Court will discuss supporting Housing Tax Credits for the Parklane Villas development and HuntJon LLC.

Earlier this month, the Brenham City Council voted to support the 80-unit apartment complex at Hosea and Riggs Streets.

HuntJon is working with the Brenham Housing Authority on the project.

Support by the county would mean more points for the highly-competitive tax credits.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the commissioners will discuss the scope of work for a backup/disaster recovery server at the Brazos Valley Council of Government’s data room.

The server would replicate Washington County’s software and data.

The commissioners will also hear the annual report from Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel.

Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Washington County Courthouse.
