WASHINGTON CO. CONSTABLES HOST ANNUAL CONFERENCE

  

The Central Texas Justice of the Peace and Constables Association (CTJPCA) annual conference was held in Brenham last Wednesday at the Washington County Event Center.

Precinct One Constable Ken Holle along with Precinct Two Constable Carrol “Butch” Faske and Precinct Three Constable David Blakey Jr hosted the event.

The CTJPCA consists of Justices of the Peace and their clerks, and Constables and their deputies from 28 Counties in the central Texas area.  The CTJPCA helps provide training as well as other resources to these offices.

The training portion of the conference this year was provided by Washington County EMS, which consisted of CPR certification training as well as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training to over 40 participants.

Four Washington County members of the CTJPCA were elected to various positions in the association during the annual conference.

Elected to the Board of Directors were Constable Ken Holle (who is also the immediate past president) and Precinct Two, Deputy Constable William Shepherd.  Precinct One, Deputy Constable Brad Kuecker was elected as Deputy Representative for the Association and Constable David Blakey Jr was elected as Sergeant at Arms.
