WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS AWARDS OUTSTANDING MEMBERS

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club awarded five Lions Club International Melvin Jones Fellowships at their meeting Monday.

Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowships were awarded to LaVerne Krumrey, Deborah Leroy Wenckens and Deloris Draehn. Their pins included a diamond.  Receiving their first Melvin Jones Fellowship was Donna Clay and Thresia Schlabach.

Past International Director Joe Al Picone also awarded four International President Certificates.  Receiving the Presidential Certificate of Appreciation was Shirley Moehlmann, LCIF Club Coordinator Certificate of Appreciation was Jeannie Luedemann, Certificate of Appreciation for Distinguished Achievement was Linda Oberhoff, and the Globe Action Team Certificate was LaVerne Krumrey.  Each certificate was accompanied with the lapel pin to mark the presentation.

Oberhoff also announced the top 10 fundraising members for 2018; LaVerne Krumrey, Debra Leroy Wenckens, Deloris Draehn, Donna Clay, Liori Balusek, Pat Lueckemeyer, Carol Hutchins, Peggy Kramer, Shirley Moehlmann and Linda Oberhoff.

The Ladies Lions Club also welcomed four new members on Monday: Lauren Buthand, Patsy Clinton, Gail Baker, and Sheri McCord.
