WASHINGTON CO. PECAN SHOW WINNERS ANNOUNCED

  

The Washington County Horticulture Committee hosted the 2017 Washington County Pecan Show this week.

Pecans from across Washington County were evaluated for quality and variety characteristics to determine the best pecan in each category, division, and overall.

Washington County producers submitted 42 entries this year.

Entries advancing to the East Region Pecan Show, December 13, will be judged by a panel of pecan experts at the Friar Ag Complex in Cuero.
