WASHINGTON COUNTY 4-H ASKING FOR DONATIONS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

  

Washington County 4-H is asking for donations of school supplies to help flood victims in Louisiana.

The Louisiana 4-H Program has reached out to Texas 4-H to ask for help in assisting with the flood relief efforts in southern Louisiana.  The southern part of the state was recently devastated with record rain fall right at the time youth were planning on going back to school.  Due to the rains and the damage experienced many youth in the region have not been able to return to school, much less been able to shop for school supplies.  The Louisiana 4-H Program is asking for donations of general school supplies which can be distributed to the youth of southern Louisiana.

Washington County 4-H will be utilizing this project as their One Day 4-H Project. Please bring all donations to the Washington County Extension Office located at 1305 E Blue Bell Road in Brenham.
