WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS EXTENDING LOCAL DISASTER DECLARATION

  

The Washington County Commissioners are expected to approve the extending of the local Disaster Declaration order by the Washington County Judge on May 27th in relation to the excessive amounts of rainfall resulting in widespread property damage during their meeting this morning (Tuesday).

The revised Washington County Emergency Medical Services Department’s Educational Assistance and Employment Obligation Agreement will be considered by the court. The County Commissioners will also discuss a subdivision variance request out of the Mary Anna Earley Survey in precinct one.

The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce will present a check in support of the Washington County Emergency Medical Services station in Chappell Hill.

Also expected to be approved is pending fairgrounds contracts and accounts payable.

The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet at 9:00am this morning (Tuesday) in the court chambers at the Courthouse.
