WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR ATTENDANCE REACHES OVER 9,000

  

The 148th Washington County Fair had a busy day on Wednesday. According to fair officials, the attendance yesterday hit 9,423 people.

A total of 353 exhibitors are had their projects judged at the Washington County Fair while vying for one of the 260 sale lots for the Junior Livestock Sale.

The Junior Livestock sale will held on today (Thursday) beginning at 2:00 pm. Live coverage of the event will begin at 1:45 on KWHI and KWHI.com. In addition to the livestock events, fair attendees enjoyed carnival rides, bull riding, and mouth watering delights from the Country Creations.

Washington County Fair President, Pam Zwahr, says there’s a mix of classic fair attractions as well as some new things this year:

Tomorrow, the Fair will host Children’s Day. Zwahr says there quite a bit for kids and parents to look forward to in the day:
