WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU TO HOST 2015 AG DAY

  

The Washington County Farm Bureau, Washington County AgriLife Extension Service, and Washington County Outdoors will be hosting the 2015 Washington County Ag Day on Wednesday May, 13th at the fairgrounds in Brenham.

Over 450 local fourth grade students will learn about the local ag economy in Washington County. Washington County Ag Day gives students the opportunity to learn more about how agriculture impacts them on a daily basis.

The students learn from local ag producers how to shell corn, rope calves, milk dairy cows, as well as talk with veterinarians, wildlife specialists, beekeepers, and much more.
