WASHINGTON COUNTY UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DOWN SLIGHTLY FROM MARCH

  

The Unemployment rate for Washington County was down slightly from March, with the April rate of 3.5 percent, down from 3.8 percent in March. This report is for a period of time prior to the massive layoff announcements from Valmont Industries, MIC Group and Blue Bell Creameries, which all occurred during May.
