WATER NOT YET BEING RELEASED FROM SOMERVILLE DAM
The water levels at Lake Somerville continue to rise, with the lake level, as of Monday, June 1st, standing at 258.28, which is 20.27 feet over flood stage.
The Corp of Engineers is currently NOT releasing any water from the dam, expecting to possibly begin releasing on Tuesday, depending on water levels at the time.

The Brazos actually has already come out of its bed in certain areas, including Sealy. It is not severe, but there. It has however started to drain back to where it stays in the bed.
At 8:35 AM, TXDOT informed me that FM 50 is open at Yegua creek!
