WEEK ONE OF EARLY VOTING SEES 885 CAST BALLOTS IN WASHINGTON CO.

  

 

Nearly 900 people have cast ballots locally in the first week of early voting in the 2016 Texas Primaries.

According to County Clerk Beth Rothermel, through Friday, 885 votes had been cast, 732 in the Republican Primary and 153 in the Democratic Primary.

Weekend voting is taking Saturday from 9:00-to-2:00 and Sunday from Noon-to-3:00.

Voters can also cast early ballots next Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Early voting is taking place in the courthouse annex in downtown Brenham.
